Hey i was wondering if anyone can help me with how i can replace a igintion coil be cause im having a misfire in 3 and 5. Thanks for the help. its a 2004 S80

 

pop off the valve cover and you will see the individual ignition coils. they have a bolt or two holding them in place then snap onto the top of the plug. I'd start by replacing the plugs and then inspect the connector onto the coil units to make sure there are no cracks, corrosion. You can also try swapping the coils ie switch 4 and 5, 2 and 3 after doing the plugs. If your misfires now appear on 2 and 4, you can replace the coils. If not, check for other issues such as the connectors or fuel mixture/fuel pressure issues.
