Hello all.
I rarely come on this site because I really haven't needed to. My 96, 850 GLT is at roughly 350,000 miles and has become like an old friend or a well used pair of shoes. All maintenance was performed by me. I have bonded with this car but unfortunately it is time to retire the Swedish Express.


I drive roughly 25,000 highway miles a year on my commuters. Average speed 80 MPH on fairly good roads. I'm in Colorado so a little ice here and there is not out of the question in the winter months.


My current short list of replacements for the 850 in order are a 2007 or newer S80 or Mercedes E350.


Any input you gurus can provide concerning ease of DIY maintenance, parts prices etc. would be greatly appreciated.
