I ve had problems with the battery or the starter for about 6 months I replaced the battery from advanced auto parts where they looked it up in the system and found out that's where it was bought. now all of sudden the car would not start i would hear the clicking sound, you knowwhen you try to start and it just wont kick in and you hear a clicking noise, I called AAA and they came out and tried to jump it but it still wouldn't start the guy said it is possible that the starter is not kicking. The lights in the car was still working but when I called the dealership and asked them about what it could be they told me that is a rare case that they would have to replace the starter for a Volvo 2000 S80 2.9 non-turbo, they also said it could have been a bad battery that they had given you and the person from AAA could of maybe not hadenough juice to start the car and that they had a person had there car toed in and they was told the starter wasn't good but come to find out it was the battery, so I amoptimistic that it could be the starter and with the alternator they told me that couldn't be the problem because I had the worked on last year with the voltage regulator, so I think that is ok So what would be the possible options of what could be wrong..
