Separating control arm

Separating control arm
2008 s80 Still trying to install new strut mounts. How do you separate the control arm (ball joint ) stud from the steering knuckle? Tried hammering the sides, heating, pickle fork to no avail. Does anyone know the best way or does Volvo make a special tool for the newer style steering knuckles. Thanks
