shift point changes
I just purchased a certified 2010 s80 with 9,000 miles as a winter beater for the wife when her c70 is hibernating in a heated barn (yeah, everyone tells her she is spoiled rotten).
Really like the 3.2 six and the s80 is one heck of a highway cruiser. Only thing that does annoys me is the 6 speed. In full automatic mode, the thing tries to shift 1st to 2nd at 1200 rpm. You are 1 second into getting off the line, there is no power and car feels like it is missing or *******. If I shift manually, it is just fine, as I take it up to 1600-2000 unless some tool in a Saab needs a good beatdown ;<)
Rest of the shift points are fine.
Anyone else notice this, and is there a way to remap the shift points to get a couple hundred more revs before it starts the shift?
Thanks
john

Follow up:
When I took the 80 back to the dealer for 15k servicing, I explained my issue. The boys pumped in all the software updates and diddled with the shift points.
Works super now. It comes up 200 rpm and is easier on the shift point. The hesitation is gone. They also tighten up the shifting so it no longer feels like a Buick.
And it stays in the lower gears at sub 50 much better.
