Periodicallyon a cold start, but occasionally on a hot start, my 1999 S-80 2.9 will have no power. Will only rev to about 2000 RPM and can only get about 15 mph out of it. I let the engine warm up, then shut it off for about a minute. On restart, it runs fine. Any suggestions?

 

Is the check enginelight on?
Has the throttle recall been done yet?

I don't know if the throttle recall has been done. Do you have a recall number for this recall?

 

I forget it.
Call the Dealer with your Vin# and have them run it.
That will tell you if it has been done or not.
Ask them to check for open recalls.
