Default Swaying

I have just recently purchased a 2001 S80 T6. I find when I am driving the car and go over slight bumps, the car sways and then straightens itself out. It's not a good feeling when I drive the car. Is this normal or should I take it in.

Have the suspension bushings looked at.

Yea i had a similar problem. when going over bumps, my 2000 s80 T6 would slide/sway around and just not feel very in touch with the road. Kinda scary when the car weighs 3500+ lbs. My problem ended up being rear shocks that were shot. Often when you replace the rear shocks, the dealer/mechanic will replace the suspension bushings as well, which Tech suggested. Do the suspension test on your car: put the car on a level surface and push down hard on the rear bumper. It should bounce 1.5 times and no more. Down-up-down. if it bounces more than this, then your suspension in the rear is shot. check the front the same way, but chances are if the car is swaying around it's probably a problem in the rear.
