I have a 2000 S80 T-6 and need to replace the tires (225-50 17), any recommendations? I really would not like to spend over $200/ tire....

 

I'd highly recommend, the Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z. 40k mile warranty, quiet, great ride and handling. Very good wet traction as well. Check Tire Rack customer feedbask too, and their tire tests, you won't be disappointed. I got mine at Costco for $160 each, but they don't cary B'stones anymore (Michelin pushed them out - my guess). I drive pretty agressively and am mot satisfied [IMG][/IMG]

 

Have you or anyone else heard of Nexen N3000? Someone told me they are better rated than the Michelins and cost about $140 installed.

I have T6 99 and I did last month Replaced the 4 tires. Dont waste ur time, just go for Bridgeston.the best and i filled them with Nitrogen.

I just replaced mine with the Yokahamas. I have 20k on them and then run great. I only paid about $140 a tire.

 

Nexen are made by hercules...so anyting over $40 is too much....why be cheap with only thing tween you and pavement? Hercules are cheapo private labels tires....I was a factory rep and Hi-perf tire group manager for 10 years....get what you pay for...within reason

 

What normally comes stock on s80 t6's 2001, Cooperstone or Continental or something?

 

toyo makes a badass tire. I had them on my mustang and I could throw that thing around all day.
