Tranny problems

does the s80 t6 have a seperate tranny controller from the ecu?

You are going to have to be Very careful and Plan really good on the project you are making.

The S80 is a networked car. The cars have between 12 and 20 computers in the Network depending on the options the car comes with.

The module will have to be programed. Which it might not be able to have done and it might not run/drive right.

Not sure if the 960 computer will drive the trans matched up with the S80 TT engine.

I would install the turbo setup and try to use a stand alone fuel managment system and see what happens from there.

I have acess to a baum which will fix the programming, as of obd2 every car is suppossed to have a pcm and not seperate controllers, however lots of them do, the question is if the v90 trans bolts up and is seperate then

It might bolt up but never tried.
They are pretty much the exact same block with minor differences.
