Default Transmission Fluid Help?

Hey guys I recently got a 2000 s80 2.9L with 113,000 mi. It shifts well when I accelerate slowly, but when I try to punch it a bit, the shifting is VERY rough. Would you all reccomend getting the transmission fluid replaced?

Check the torque mounts. Especially the one on the lower front. Could also be the one attached to the strut bar. More than likely your problem. Changing the fluid is never a bad idea either!

I had mine flushed and changed to Amsoil at about 140K. What a difference it made. Very smooth shifting now.

I just bought 15 qt's of amsoil ATF to do the change myself... using the bleeding method, wouldnt risk getting a 110k gm tranny flushed.

I'll drop the pan and change the filter first though and clean the pan if I find any gunk down there.. Also installing an inline Magnefine filter on the cooler line..
