S80 T6 119K I'm getting the transmission service urgent message, it drives OK but seems to be stuck in 3rd gear since when I go to manual shifting the display goes from D to 3 and I can't shift up or down in manual mode.

I going to take it to the dealer on Monday morning but have about 25 miles to drive and trying to figure if I should have it towed or just drive it. Any thoughts?

 

When the message comes up it goes into Limp home mode.

It might be something simple. But since the code is in there it will drive funny.

 

Maybe you can get a triple AAA membership, or if you already have it then they should do it...

 

Waiting for the dealership to call with what they found. Let's hope it's simple, maybe only a couple $100
