Default valve stem seals

I'm changing my valve's and stem seals, got a 2nd head with good valves, how do I pull out these seals tho? I've tried but only come up with the little O ring spring thing, rubber is still in it. It's a 2000 S80 2.9L

Once the valves are disassemble and out of the head. They make special pliers to get them out. You could use pliers to get them out too it will just take more work. Just grip the whole seal and pull it out of there they are usually tight. You can use a small socket to beat the new seal back down on. Soak the new seals over night in oil or at least for a bit.
