Your one favorite thing about the S80

I think the seats are kind of hard actually. I liked the captain chairs in my Eddie Bauer Bronco much more. But the foam is holding up really well.
Anywho, I guess I like the suspension the best, believe it or not. I've heard a lot of people rag on Volvos for that, but compared to the 4x4's I've been driving seems like a Rolls Royce to me... like I could cut diamonds in the back seat while driving over NYC potholes. hehe

2002 t6
1. Seats
2. Safe
3. Unlike so many on this forum, I have not had a lot trouble with my T6. Is it a Honda? No, thank God as I would rather drive a toaster than a Honda. All repairs were early (30k to 50k) and under warranty (except new Koni FSDs @ 82k - nice upgrade). The few real problems were as much my fault as Volvos (crappy after market strut bearing failed creating a noise that sounded like a bad steering pump. I replaced the pump before I figured out it was a strut bearing). The tranny is fine so far (I did change fluid & filter @80k). No ETM issues. I wonder if it is the 1999-2001 that had all the problems, people stomp on it at ever start and the motor kills the trans, or I just got lucky with this one. Then again I am just hitting the deadly hundred k range so maybe I will regret defending Volvo on this one... but for now I can say it is a better car than the first and last Lexus I owned (POS and soooo dull).
