These pictures are of my steering wheel in my 2017 S90 Inscription. I first noticed the defects when one of the little spots started to open up. Initially I was kicking myself because I thought I scratched the wheel, which I have never done before! A couple days later, another spot opened and then within a week it looked like the picture. That is when I took these pic and sent them to my dealer who ordered a new steering wheel. Now Volvo is not wanting to honor the warranty claim. This is obviously not user error, it is a defect, these are high resolution pics that show the "alligator" defects to go all the way into the seam and almost two thirds of the way around the wheel. Has anyone else had leather problems?

I noticed that if you are viewing these pics on a phone or tablet, the quality of the pic is reduced and all of the 'alligator' markings are not clear.

 

The top picture looks like something got caught amd scratched the steering wheel. Hard to tell though.
