Default Driver door cylinder replacement

The driver door lock fails to return to neutral after unlocking.

I have removed the door panel and insulation, the two screws in the posterior door under the door lock and the two more superior vertical screws in the posterior door.

Any further guidance would be helpful. thanks in advance. Londe

Can you see in there? Should be just a clip on the inside and some hook lever. Sounds like the old return spring broke.

Default re drive door cylinder replacement

I figured it out. The antitheft device slips forward
and allows for removal of the door lock assembly.
The spring had slipped from from the turning post
producing a loss of tension in the door lock assembly.
I repositioned the springs and it works as designed.

thanks
