V90 / V90 CC - Model Year??
Very interested in replacing my 2007 Subaru Legacy Wagon with a V90 but trying to decide whether to buy the V90 R or V90 CC and what model year. I saw a V90 a few years ago on the highway for the first time and have had a major car crush ever since. Mostly suburban and city driving but 5-10 times per year are on upaved roads for hiking and camping and kayaking and might appreciate the extra ground clearance. Also, trying to decide what model year to buy, it's hard to determine when the best (or worst) features were added/removed each year. Trying to decide whether to buy a lightly used '18, '19, or '20 or buy new? Coming back to Volvo (owned a 240 DL wagon waaay back). I'm sold on Wagons, just need to pick which one. I'm "cost conscious" so buying a '21 model seems very unlikely unless there were significant features added this year that justify it. Also, I don't like how they hid the exhaust behind the rear bumper, I like the tailpipe look.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Get something CPO for sure, and make sure you know what all the options are before you buy. This is the type of car you want to get it right, and not regret waiting for the perfect one.
A base Volvo, is pretty luxurious, but some things are optional that might make it "your car" more than others. Like to me, I wouldn't get a T5, or a car without HUD now. But the (totally awesome) B&W audio isn't where I would spend my money.
