Hi Guys,

My V40 has developed an intermittent fault in that every so often the engine goes really noisey and performance drops?

I give it a rev and it seems to clear the problem and everything goes back to normal. Its very strange!

The enngine warning light came on the other day then went. I managed to get the error code and it reads as this.

EFI-713 Advance valve, signal too low. Unfortunately my mechanic did not know what this meant?

Has anyone here heard of it?

Hopefully someone has as I need to get the motor back to full strength asap.
