Coolant "block" on lower passenger side of engine
Hello all
I bought my daughter a 2001 v40, and I'm putting a little love into it, but had a mishap.
While getting it up on a jack the other day, I let myself get in a hurry and once the car was up, it slipped and landed right on a coolant hose that goes into what i can only describe as a block on the lower passenger side of the engine. The aluminum elbow that goes into that block was sheered off in the process. I haven't spent much time with volvos, so I have no idea what this block is called so I can order another.
At first I thought it was part of the engine block, but it's held on to the block by 4 hex bolts.
The short version - what is that block on the bottom passenger side of the engine with coolant in/out connections with what looks like about 5/8 id rubber hose connected to it?
TIA
