Default oil leak issue

hello I am new to the Volvo scene. i got my wife a 00 V40 from the auction for 1500$ it has 144K, dark blue in mint condition. When I got it home parked it in the garage over night. I pulled out the car this morning, and saw a oil stain I looked under the car it looks like it might be coming from the oil plug but not sure. my friend said it might be coming from the turbo or turbo oil lines.I ran Sea foam through the motor, and honey motor stop leak. Also my wife would like to know when the turbo kick in @what RPM. and also what does the S button do?
Thanks for the feedback
Cheers

my friend said it might be coming from the turbo or turbo oil lines Your friend is correct. It's coming from the turbo oil drain line o-ring seal at the block.

honey motor stop leak
Bad idea.

the turbo kick in @what RPM The turbo does not "kick in." It makes boost progressively up to 8.8 psi throughout the rpm range dependent on throttle setting.

what does the S button do? Press the S button to select transmission Sport mode. The transmission shifts up and down at higher engine speeds for improved performance. The red LED in the button comes on to indicate that Sport mode is selected.

It maybe leaking from oil pan or transmission lines but I am not sure.I think you should go to your local car parts place and they will have products that will clean it up. Usually a kitty litter substance soaks up oil well. Find out where the leak is and have it fixed.

I thought thew turbo kick in at certain RPM like 2500 RPM or 3000 RPM? not like a supercharge its running from idle. Also whats the max LBS of boost is this turbo running at and what kind of turbo is it? is it a T3/T4 or something? Also can I hook up a boost controller and increase the boost on it? Its my wifes car but i can get a used boost cotroller from a buddy for pretty much free. Is it worth increasing the boost?

What might cause an Oil Leak? What mainterneance issues cause this possibly and what can prevent it?
Maintenance issues with oil leaks?

In general what can be done to keep an engine in tip top shape
specifically for Chevy "Cavaliers" or any cars?
