Can any one help, I have a v40 t4 automatic, which runs fine till it warms up. when warm the gear selection mechanism cannot select a gear and the car lurches with the engine revs rising and dropping. recently the car lost drive completely, as though the selector has picked neutral, for no reason. when the car is switched off and cools for a couple of minutes you can restart with the problem not appearing for a while, but then reappearing. Please give me an idea
