V40 Dies after hard breaking
Ok so I have a 2001 V40 and it is dieing out after uphill acceleration and a hard break. It is really strange. I press the gas and accelerate and when I get to the top of the hill and break the car idles down to nothing and the car is dead. If has no problem restarting as well. I thought it was the IACV so i tried cleaning it but the problem remains? Mabye the thing is dead. anyone got a suggestion?

Loss of oil pressure
Mine does the same. Usually when it does, I get fault code P0015. I'm thinking when the oil sloshes forward or backward, I momentarily lose suction (even when the oil is at proper level), which results in loss of oil pressure which causes VVT problems, and I lose compression.
But I'm not a mechanic, so I'm just guessing. Just like Honmusam, I could sure use some help.
Thanks,
