I have a 1996 V40 2.0 SE. I just started getting an intermittent misfire on my V40 (two of the four cylinders stop firing). I have taken it to my mechanic (not a main deeler) to have a look at but he has failed to reproduce the problem. He thinks it is eaither a problem with one of the ignition coils or the electronic control unit playing up. There is one other strange issue in that when the problem occurs the DSA (anti skid) warning light comes on. The "Fault in the engine electronic system" light does not come on!

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
