I am fitting an after market satellite navigation system, but prior to doing this, i will need t know wherer i can find the vehicle speed sensor wire (VSS)

Is there anywhere behind the radio I can pick this up from?
What colour is the wire?


Also, where is the OEM CD Changer situated?
Is there room in the glovebox?

... in the UK at least.

1998 (S Registration)

V40 (that's the Estate model, also know as the station wagon)

The engine is the 1.8 litre GDI
This is the petrol engine that is derived from a diesal unit.


I am not a Volvo expert - but there is definately such a car!

 

Europe I think they came out in 1996.

Check and see if the wiring Diagram helps.
