The carfax from the dealer came back clean.
I want to know what to look for and what to be aware of in the future. I realise that this is my first post, and as I am not new to forums, (just this one!) I know that a lot can be learned from the search function, but I am going to go look at the car tomorrow after work. I have already read about the timing belt, and this is a bit disappointing, but what can ya do?

I don't know where you are posting from myolbug, but if it's from the UK, I suggest you look out for what DOT (formerly MOT) testers look for.
If you're posting outside the UK, let me know and I'll give you a few pointers.
