I have been offered a free 2003 V 40 but the engine has 180,000 km and it’s making a funny sound. Can anyone identify the sound?

Aux belt/tensioner or timing belt/tensioner flopping around? I'd take the car (it's free) but would not drive it until I made sure the timing belt was not about to fall off!

 

The sound is not coming from the side of the engine it’s coming from the valve cover at least it sounds like it’s coming from that to me

 

Have you used a stethoscope to isolate the noise?

 

I don’t have one. It’s a good idea but the car is an hour away and I was hoping to make a decision based on the video. It’s overdue for a cam belt.(2018)180k km. Brakes are useless ( probably rust since it’s been sitting for months) headliner has dropped and A pillar cover peeled off. I was hoping to fix it enough to pass MOT then sell it. But I’m starting to think I’ll put more in than I’ll sell it for. MOT alone will be 180€. New cam belt and tensioner I recon 50-60€ four new brake discs and pads, best part of 200€. ….
