Hi, I have a Volvo v40 d4 r-des 2015 auto,to which is fitted the dedicated 7 pin wiring for towing. How can I convert to 13 pin wiring without going to the expense of buying a dedicated 13 pin kit? I am capable (electrically) to do the job if I had info and instructions.

 

check out e-trailer.com tor Amazon for a 7 wire to 13 wire converter socket. I saw one on Amazon for about $9... worth a look if that'll do ya.
