can you add a navigation system to a 2007 v50? Mine did not come with one and I do not have the premium stereo. I have the run of the mill v50.

If you don't have the Premium Sound system then you don't have the opening in the center of the dash. Therefore, you would need to replace the dash, which would be very costly. Or, cut a hole in the dash and figure out some way to make it look nice.

I'd get a stand alone GPS.

 

I agree. Get a GPS and spend your engineering/styling budget on hiding the power wiring to it so when its not in use, there's little evidence of its existence.

The "secret" advantage of many GPS systems is the easier updating which is an additional advantage.
