Default Buying a V50

Hi all,

I'm brand new to the forum so I apologise if this has been posted or asked before (I did have a quick search). I'm looking to buy a V50, nothing special just a 1.6 diesel around 2009-2012ish is there anything I should look out for faults or problems wise other than the usual stuff when buying a new car? Are there certain places they go rusty or are there any common faults that I might be able to spot that might make a car not worth buying?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Ben

Question 2011/11 Volvo V50 1.6 DRIVe SE LUX Estate diesel

Hi Ben,

My 2011/11 V50 1.6 DRIVe SE LUX Estate wants a new keeper! *Full tank of fuel, *full service, loads of service stamps + invoices, MoT'd to 27/09/23 and *4x new high quality tyres fitted, full docs/service book pack, V5C, 2x keys (*in last month).

Chameleon blue, very light beige leather, high spec example, manual 6 spd and lots more. 172,600+ miles(in daily use), drives great but not advertised yet. A really nice example. The sale of my Laguna fell through and I had already bought the V50 and put £500+ into it, and it'll be listed for circa £3,600. It's been very well cared for and drives really nice. 5+ owners, zero road tax, and as for your questions, I wish I could advise as I bought mine locally based on high mpg and overall condition, but other forum members may offer you a more detailed reply.
