I have 2007 AWD turbo with 31000 miles......CEL just came on....can't get to the dealer till Wed....any common issues with the V50 that would trip the CEL...?

100 or more things can set the light.
Is the gas cap loose?

I think your altenator is damage. I have thesame situation ... They need to change it. The problem is that V50 is eat alot of energy so original altenator is i think 130 Ampers ... and my mechanic give in my V50 150 AMP.
If your altenator is busted .... and you must change it ... change it with more powerfull.
