Default Changing The Display Language

Hi,

Just imported a V50 from Japan. The dealer can change the language to English but want $360+gst for the job - it must be only a 15 minute job!

So I'm trying to figure out how to do it myself. Anyone done this?

Looking at something like this

Cheers
Gareth

There is no DIY way unless you buy VIDA, a DiCE and a subscription to allow software downloads.

And even then, only with a Volvo-approved DiCE unit. Basically, $360 sounds about right for this dealer service. This pays for the statutory one hour shop time and the software "part" that they will download from Volvo central and program into your car.
