Gas Mileage '08 V50 2.4I
Just read Santoury’s 10/26 post regarding gas mileage he’s getting on his ’05 V50 T5 AWD…60 MPH – 40MPG; 70MPH – 35MPG; & back roads 27-28MPG. My ‘08 V50 2.4I with just over 30k miles is only getting around 20MPG on my daily commute on free flowing surface streets while the best was 31MPG on an all highway trip (70-75MPH). These figures are calculated and not based on the car’s trip computer output. I’ve only owned this car 4 months and have been surprised as I expected better. Now I’m curious what kind of mileage figures some of you other V50/S40 folks are getting?
