Hi,

I need some help understanding what should i chose for my V50 for winter tires. I currently have Michelin Exalto with V91 rating and i am quite happy with these tires for Spring, Summer and Fall but for winter i wanted to get Nokian tires. The only ones i could find were Nokian Hakkapelita R but the speed rating is much lower than my V. The tire place told me that i should get Marangoni 4Ice instead because its a T rating which seemed really weired.

If anyone had ever had Nokian Hakkapelita R on V50 please respond and tell me if its a good idea or not, or is there an alternative.

You don't say if you have fwd or awd, but here is what I would recommend:

You don't have to spend a lot to get a good tire.

My V50 is FWD. I came to a conclusion that Dunlop might be my best choice after all.
