v50 easter eggs...
#2
I haven't found any radio easter eggs yet but you might try this one for checking trouble codes. I found this on SS form many moons ago.

Turn your ignition to II, but don't start the car.
Hold the "read" button on your turn signal stalk
Press the rear foglight switch twice.
Look at your trip comp.
Keep pressing "read"
After a short pause, the display (hopefully! ) reports:
No DTCs found.
DTCs are Diagnostic Trouble Codes. I suppose it dumps them out if there are any. You need the book to
translate them however, they're generally of the form letter-4digitnumber, and specific to each model.
OBD-2 scanners generally report these as well.
Then, pressing "Read" on the stalk, it reports the status of the following systems on my car, probably
different modules on others depending on what's installed:
BCM (Brake Control Module)
DEM (Differential Electronics Module - AWD)
ECM (Engine Control Module)
SWM (Steering Wheel Module) (probably only if DSTC)
EPS (Electrical Power Steering)
CEM (Central Electronic Module)
SRS (Supplemental Restraint System)
CCM (Climate Control Module)
DDM (Driver Door Module)
ICM (Infotainment Control Module)
PDM (Passenger Door Module)
If you have a GT, I would expect the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to show up.
