Volvo V50 RTI and radio shuts down

My Volvo V50 2005 RTI and radio shuts down after a few seconds and makes a weird beep. Any thoughts on this problem?

It's fixed by replacing the battery.

I think the machine is faulty software, you should take to the warranty center

c70 reset was enough last year

I have the very same problem - radio shutting off with a beep. Any ideas how to fix it, please?
