Warm start problem
Hi,
My 2007 facelift 1.8 pertrol Volvo V50 does not start when the engine is warm. The Volvo dealer traced the problem to the engine not getting enough fuel at warm starts.
They already cleaned the injectors, checked for leaky injectors and cleaned the throttle house. Without success.
Other than the starting issues the car runs fine, no loss of power or idling issues when warm. Cold it also starts perfectly every time.

leaky injectors are the usual lead suspect but it could be fuel pressure - I assume they measured pump pressure at the rail (I'd expect about 55 PSI) so next on my list would be the ECT sensor and possibly other sensors that are acting up when warm.
