I lifted my rear seats today in my 2006 V50 and noticed it was soaking wet underneath. Does anybody have any suggestions where the water might be coming from or how to stop it? I really need help with this one.

While I took my car into the local dealer and was tagged with a $2400 bill!! I was told that the sun roof cassette had a defect and was leaking (the new part was $1200 and 9 hrs labour). I contacted Volvo Canada to inquire if there was anything that could be done as this is definitely a design flaw( the maintenance person told me he has seen this on other Volvo models and mine was not the first one). I was told that there was nothing that they could do as it was out of warranty and to keep my receipt so if things changed they could contact me. Wow I'm not going to hold my breath! It looks like I will have to send out more e-mails to argue my point. Has anyone else out there experianced a similiar issue? Does anyone know of who I might be able to contact to help resolve this issue?
UNTIL THEN I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A VOLVO WITH A SUN ROOF UNTIL THIS DEFECT IS FIXED!!!!
