Default 1999 V70 engine burning lots of oil

Purchased brand new in 1998, love the car and has 150k miles on it.

OK, I just spent 1,400.00 fixing the ABS system and other items. Not looking forward to go to the dealer to see how much it will cost to get the oil leakage issue resolved...any comments ?
Also to give you an idea:2-3quarts of oil are burned up within 2000-3000 miles of driving.

I have not noticed any leaking on the ground !

What could be happening here ? Also did I destroy anything in the engine since I have been driving with 2-3 quarts instead of 6 !

Thanks

I had one do this and tech is right. The black box under the intake manifold and the hose may be plugged up.
