Default 2010 V70 3.2 transmission shudder

All, I am at a loss with my car. I bought it used out of Florida with 79K miles. Had it shipped to me without me driving it (1st mistake which would have prevented this fiasco!). As soon as i drove it away from the carrier when it arrived I knew something didn't seem right with the shifting, however, I kind of put it off that it was a 6spd vs the 5spd (2.5T) and it was normal. Couldn't believe this Volvo would have an issue at 79K. Anyway, found a replacement (77K miles) and had that installed, but still have the same problem but not as bad as the first one. The shudder is most noticeable from 2nd-3rd (around 20 mph) and then a little bump at 3rd-4th at 30mph. I believe the transmission shop put in Valvoline Maxlife when installed, not Import. as far as fixes/bandaids, I have had some success with multiple tubes of Shudder Fix. The best way that i have found to avoid the shudder is to use Geartronics (manual shifting) and keep the RPMS above 2K and shift at or above 3K. I can not seem to find another used transmission or anyone to overhaul the one I have. I live in Mobile, AL. Trying to stay away from the dealer for obvious reasons. One repair shop told me you can't take one used transmission and install it in another Volvo without changing the valve body??? I have seen recommendations that i should use Castrol Import fluid which from what I can glean from research is that it has the thickest viscosity at running temp and thus may help the gears lockup. Side note: I did change the fluid 7 times on the original tranny, but it was a pain because i put the entire car up on blocks to keep the engine level. If I go to drain and fill this second tranny myself, can i just raise the front wheels and ignore or adjust for the fact that I am not perfectly level? I saw what i thought was a very good Youtube video, but i noticed he didn't raise the rear wheels and he said nothing about it. Looking for any advice. From Volvo owner lost in Mobile!
