Default 98 v70 acceleration sensor

As it says, i have a 1998 v70. 155xxxmls. Sensor has been replaced twice in two months. Any idea why it would blow two of them? any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Any other problems?

That sensor I believe is also tied to the A/C high pressure sensor and one other one but I forget which one at the moment.

If it just keeps throwing the code it might be something else.
Like the A/C high pressure switch or fuel tank pressure sensor(That's the other sensor I forgot earlier.

Yes it would throw the code of the tank sensor is bad.
About all I can say is to try to unplug it and see if the code stops coming back.
But it might also throw the code faster.

This one is usually a pain to figure out which one is the fault.

the repair manual has a circuit test for the acc sensor, so ill try that 1st i guess. Ill have to look for the other sensors and see what happens when i unplug them. Thig is, i cant even clear the Check engine light with my scan tool. scan tool says the erasure was good, but the light never goes off. thanx for all the help, hope i can figure it out. car runs fine though also. and i have done a lot of maintenance so,

The tank sensor is mounted on the top of the fuel tank.

I agree if the designers that designed the cars had to work on them they would not be this way.
