Default ? about v70 awd reliability

So my 850 glt has driven it's last mile with me and I'm looking at a new car. I am a fan of the v70's and have found a 2002 with 116,000 miles on it. I've heard the awd aspect can be troublesome and I pretty much got hosed on my 850 so I am being very cautious this time around. Any input would be helpful.

So how did you get "hosed" by your 850? Except for the first yr model (1993) those are great cars. In most cases more reliable than the V70, esp of that vintage you're suggesting... and yes, the awd adds complexity and hurts reliability.

116,000 is not to bad for a 10 year old car. I would have the car inspected by a professional and proceed with causion, it is a 10 year old car.
