Default Acceleration issues

Can someone help me? Last year my V70 wagon (2000) was hesitating upon acceleration and then the check engine light would come on as well.

I forgot what they fixed but it was a thousand dollar repair that was (luckily) under warranty due to a Volvo recall. Does anyone remember what that recall was?

Try this (I googled "volvo recalls" by the way):

It might be the vehicle speed issue. Although I think you are experiencing the infamous transmission valve body issue.

Experienced the same problem with my V70 R AWD '00... It usually has to deal with the ABS module - Rebuilds are cheap at 120 to 250 US usually from BBA REman.... google them

If this fails may be the tranny.... cheaper to swap in a used one

Good luck
