Hi all, i have a 2001 v70.
The other day i went to start it but the battery was dead, I jumps started it and let it idle for a while before turning it off, today I jumped in and it started fine but I noticed the air conditioning doesn't work, nothing, nada, zilch.
Not only that but the seat heaters, defog and and stc buttons dont respond either. the whole panel appears to be dead - apart from the cigarette lighter which is fine. I've checked the fuses (on the left hand side of the dash) and they are all ok too, plus, there's no warning lights or messages showing up anywhere. Any ideas folks?

weather hasnt been below -3-4 lately if that helps..

Temp doesn't matter, things should work. Did you jump the car right? NOT BATTERY TO BATTERY?

Try to juggle your ignition. Not a common problem for your year but you never know.

I jump started the car the correct way by using the plus terminal behind the engine bay fuse box.

I have a 2006 Volvo V70 and the AC works on the bottom but not the top vents.
Any idea why this is happening? I just recharged it 5 months ago and everything was blowing cold air. What should I do?
