Back Pressure????
1998 V70 2.0 liter turbo. PCV is clear and clean but there is oil around the filler cap plus it fails the glove test.
Could it be back pressure from the exhaust, clogged catalytic converter OR???
thanx, Endangered

In the USA we don't get the 2.0, but on the 2.3, there really is not a source of vacuum connected to the PCV. The PCV discharges into the air duct upstream of the turbo.
As a result, I have very low expectations of the glove test on the 2.3. There could be a tiny bit of draft, but as blowby increases over the life of the engine, at some point I think it can't keep the pressure negative.
