Default belt

I was wondering what a proper price would be to replace the accessory belt on my 2000 v70. Also, is the flame trap on this car easy to get at and clean or replace? Thanks.

I think the belt is like $60.00 and it should be like a 1/2HR. to an hour labor.

Then newer cars don't have a flametrap anymore. There is just the vent box.

Thanks for the info on the belt. It is showing some cracks and it needs to be replaced. One more thing, is there any maintenance for the vent box?

There really isn't any maintenance. When it gets clogged it needs to be replaced.
You will start to develop oil leaks when it gets clogged. You can also check the hoses from the vent box for cloggage.

Thanks a bunch. Now I have an excuse to hover over the car tomorrow, that and replacing another headlight.
