bigger, wider aftermarket rims for '03 V70?
Hey folks. Long time browser, first time poster.
I "THINK" I currently have 15" Lysithia 9 spoke rims on my '03 V70.
One of my firestone tires (which I hate and never would have bought if I had been reading this forum back then) has a giant gouge in the sidewall that I don't think is safe. I am thinking I will get a set of winter tires for the stock rims and get something fun for the summer.
I would like something matte black or dark grey and cool looking. I'm thinking 18" with a low profile tire. Any recommendations? Looks like the easiest thing to do would be just ordering the 18" Pegasus replicas from IPD. I can cruise around on snow tires until they come in and I get them mounted.
What say you, oh hallowed experts?
How bad will the ride really be in these low profile tires?

I have an 03 V70, Gold Mist
I went with a 17" rim, "MSR"
Had tried an 18", going up from the stock 16".
The front tires would rub when turned lock to lock
Also the car lost acceleration and braking, gas mileage also went out the door.
With the MSR I droped 23pnds per rim and tire over the stock 16" rim and tire.
I also installed drilled rotors with low brake dust pads. "Very Nice"
