Default Blinking check engine light?

Had a blinking check engine light for about 15-20 seconds today. Scanned within 30 mins or so and NO CODES STORED. Anyone have any ideas?

I seem to notice a slight boost leak, but it may be I never noticed the sound before. I moved my charge air pipe out of the way to replace plugs and only disconnected the front and not the back. I thought I may have pulled it loose on the turbo side, checked but looked snug. Removed and replaced to inspect the rubber hose and all looked good. I can't be sure I'm leaking though since I have yet to install a boost gauge. I'm assuming I should get around 10psi at 4k RPM or so under load?

That usually means a misfire.

Figured that. I'm guessing due to the leak. I think I have it narrowed down to my CBV, going to inspect it tonight. It's only misfiring when boost tries to build, and conincides with the screaming whistle of a boost leak.

Only shudders under load when attempting peak boost. Inspected all vacuum lines and all intake tubing from the air box all the way to the throttle body. I can hear the boost bleeding off clearly at the time the engine shudders. Plugs are all new within 2K miles, Autolite Iridium plugs gapped to .027". If I'm misfiring on a specific cyl (bad coil) then wouldn't I have a stored code? This why I thought I had a leak, since it only gets rough when I hear boost blowing off somewhere. Where does the compressor bypass dump to?

Found the problem. Faulty TCV. Swapped it out and ran like a champ. Looks like I'll be going with the IPD HD TCV. Anyone else running it?

Ever heard of people using the AC Delco control valve? Looking around volvospeed and swedespeed this looks like an economical alternative to the IPD valve. If I have the patience I can wait for the IPD HD TCV group buy on Volvospeed, but for $24 and some $4 pigtails I can use the GM one, which from what I have been reading matches or exceeds the response speed of the IPD TCV.

Could be a fuel filter in your case. I would get a fuel pressure gauge and hook it up and see what you're getting. I didn't have a rough idle issue, but misfiring under high load when boost was at max (around 3500-4500RPM). I would idle fine, and able to rev to redline in neutral without any issues. Have the codes read at a auto parts shop, O'Reilly's and Advanced will do this for free for you. You could have bad spark plug(s) or failed ignition coil(s). This sounds much more like something that would cause this issue. How does it run under acceleration or under load?

yeah thats the last time i ever check stuff at night. i rechecked yesterday and did a ton of work and found there were burn rings and the dist cap and rotor button were fubar. replaced a ton of stuff that was bad like the seal on the spark plugs that popped off the plug wires and let gas leak into the plug housing. changed the plug wires also and the MAF. the MAF I wonder started the problems. but alas i found out the end result.... piston rings are gone. had to drive 8 hours to get a truck from my grandfather. woot at least i can keep my job. any links to good trustworthy part sites would be appreciated.
