Default Bought a 99 V70 I know its n/a and slow..

Rather excited about this one. It's my 3rd Volvo the last two were 850's wagons nothing too exciting. Both were n/a and auto, 95 and 97. But this one is a 5spd, cloth/leather combo . Ive always wanted a V70 wouldve preferred the turbo charged GLT but I ended getting this one because its manual.I Drove a few automatic V70;s with the turbo the power was nice..but Its been too long since Ive owned a manual . I really liked my n/a's I know the turbo is a hell of alot quicker but right now I dont mind not having it I wont spend too much money on it. Also I used to have a 01 A4 Avant 1.8T w/lots of modifications... anyways This one has all the options I wanted so oh well. Trip Computer, Traction control, Heated Seats,CD, Sunroof, Rear Spoiler, the front bumper seems to be like the "R" or sport bumper? has the fog-lights..Its silver with greenish on the inside, which looks really good and different. No power seats.. which Im a fan of being 6'4 .And the regular 16's. Its in excellant shape with 81k, full history 1 owner..had to tell someone who could understand how differant this car is. Also already had plans for an exhuast Ive been working on my last two 850's with a good friend of mine who has a shop and does great work with custom exhausts so thats in the near future. Anyways Any info on what package this couldve been. Ive seen ones without leather but not with this type of seats. And no turbo and all the options?
Thanks
Peter

If you do start to do engine mods and you do an exhaust the stock diamter piping 2.25". I would go as far as 2.5" no bigger. Of course your NA and that means backpressure is your friend. So no straight through design mufflers. Flowmasters or mufflers with baffles in it will be your friend in this project. You wont gain much Hp at all, but a nice deep tone which is cool.

Hey thanks for the info and advise. Yes unfortunatly I am n/a but I'll make the best of it. I have heard that there maybe a a "chip" for the n/a motors, is this true? No big gains around 10-14hp? That would be something I would like to do. Other then that and exhaust, maybe a short throw? Some bushings and strut brace, thats about it. Thanks again
