On a c-70 it is under the cowl on the passenger side................... One has to remove appx 3 screws and lift up the plastic shroud and replace it. I would think that is where yours is.

Yours is under the dash on the passenger side. You have to remove the lower dash panel. Then look for a black cover with 4 torxes screws.Remove the cover and then the filter.

The 2001 and newer are just like the S60 and S80.
The 2000 S/V/C 70's are like yours.The C70 is like that till 2004.

Yours is located under the plastic wiper cowl at the bottom of the windsheild on the left side.

Remove the 2 Torxes screws on the passenger side and lift the panel up and you can slide it out.

Do I have to remove the wiper arms to get at it?

When you say; " left side" is that as you look at the car from the front or as you're sitting in the drivers seat?

thanks tech.

Sorry on the passenger side. No you don't have to remove the wiper arms.
Just lift the panel and you will see the filter.
