Default Cat caught in my front brakes

OK, the cats not caught in them but my 98 V70 makes a horrible shrieking noise when I gently apply the brakes in reverse. They don't do it in forward. The brakes were supposed to be replaced on my the car by the car lot I bought it from, about 500 miles ago. I was thinking just put some antisquell on the back of the pads, sound right? Thanks for the help.

Default RE: Cat caught in my front brakes

If they are going to be replaced then have them do it soon and Ask for Volvo pads.
