Default Side trim getting caught in doorwell

Started happening out of the blue... on the passenger side of my '95 850 Wagon, the front of the trim gets caught when you open the passenger door and the rear passenger door. I took the rear passenger door trim completely off and re-attached all the clips... seems to have solved it.

Not sure why the front passenger door is getting caught, doesn't seem to be disconnected at all.

When this happens to you guys, what do you about it? Just remove and re-attach? Is this suddenly happening because of age? Should I just find some new trim at a junkyard?

Did you remove & inspect the front trim? I'd expect that it probably popped off the clip and that's what's causing the problem. I'd imagine after the years, it might wiggle itself loose and need to be reattached.

No, I haven't taken the front passenger door trim off yet... didn't really want to because it's a pain working with those clips... but I guess i'll have to.

You just have to pull out the rear-end of the trim about 1/2 inch, then slide the whole piece towards the rear of the car about an inch - it'll come out easily.
